Jérôme Sarah
Sarah Jérôme was born in 1979 in Rennes (France). She lives and works in Montreuil (France).
Between the age of seven and twenty, Sarah Jérôme practises dance every day. She was graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse de Paris in 1998, and danced at the National Opera of Lyon (France). Over the course of stretching exercises, sequences and efforts, she manages to sculpt and model her own body. Classical dance requires a training of the body, a discipline that the artist slowly refused and abandoned. In 2008, she decides to immerse herself into drawing, painting and sculpture. She studied at L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux arts de Paris. Her work is exhibited in France, Italy, England, Switzerland, Belgium as well as in galleries as in art fairs or Museums.
